You may not have been familiar with J Mendel until you saw the breathtaking gown Taylor Swift wore to the Grammys last week. However, he is a huge name in the fashion industry who is responsible behind some of Hollywood starlets greatest looks. Along with Taylor, the likes of Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Garner and Kim Kardashian have all worn his beautiful pieces.
While his Spring 2013 collection featured whimsical, chiffon, fairy-tale gowns his Fall line is a bit more rugged, modern and structured. The coats were breathtaking and a dream for fur and leather lovers (PETA beware!)! I thought almost every piece was wearable and greatly feel that there will be a flock of celebrities and fashionistas waiting to get their hands on a few items or two. I will not be surprised if you see something from the line at the Oscars coming up!
