I went to a friends wedding in Long Island this past Sunday. It was honestly one of the best weddings I have attended and the bride and groom are a true testament that true love exists and that black love is beautiful!
I wanted to do something a little different than the norm, so I wore my hair in bangs and a long ponytail with a coral dipped hem dress that was quite dramatic but very appropriate for an upscale gathering such as a wedding. Now that wedding season is here, I encourage you all to take more risks with hair, makeup and outfits. I mean how often do we get invited to an event where we can really dress up? However, the number one thing to remember is to not out dress the bride and never ever wear white! Please don't!
